It seems that global variable $_SREVER, $_REQUEST, etc are not highlighted correctly.
They are the same highlight with the normal variable such as $a.

Line 610 reads:
syn sync match phpRegionSync grouphere phpRegion "function\s.(.$"

I don't understand why there is a backslash in front of the dollar sign at the end. Wouldn't it make more sense to leave that backslash out? Removing the backslash at least solves my highlighting problems.

The function keyword in this snippet is not highlighted

array_walk($arr, function() { ... });

For that to be highlighted, I suggest adding phpSpecial to phpClInside
