10:49 PM <solexious> I like it, its just nothing but an email from a maintainer can mean its definitely back up, had a couple of people come in today when I was working on it as they had checked the site and got emails about it

10:51 PM <solexious> Sound like a good idea, not sure what sort of time line... like if its a big job it might be back in for most of a day while I'm working on it
10:52 PM <solexious> its an issue with the "official" tool status page too...
10:52 PM <solexious> I guess the ideal thing is a manual "ok im done not its really the tool status" switch on the site, but that sounds like just more work :)
10:54 PM <Pingless> Rewriting the ACNode to have a separate status for "being fixed, behave like it's working" would probably be daft
10:54 PM <Pingless> I guess the only real thing I can do is amend the email and website to say "Please don't rely on this, it might just be being fixed"
10:55 PM <solexious> I guess maybe a 2 hour debounce would catch most instances
10:55 PM <Pingless> at least on the website I can do a (if uptime < 12 hours then "maybe working" else "working")
