BFF

A terminal-based curses filebrowser. Unix only. WIP.

Building

Ensure curses is installed, along with cmake and make. Run make to compile. make clean cleans build files.

Mappings

Key	Description
:	Enter command mode
h	Traverse to the parent
j	Move selection down
k	Move selection up
l	Traverse into the folder

Commands

CMD	Description
:q	Exit the program.

bff's Issues

Bulk File editing

Similar to oil.nvim. Use a text editor to edit the directory contents, then implement those changes upon closing the editor.

Considerations

• Confirmation message?

Update titlebar

Flesh out titlebar to have important information

Requirements

• Updating path
• user/host? lf adds this, but unsure if I want this

File Opening

Open files. Default to use xdg_open?

Command Handler

Extract command-handling functionality to de-clutter BFF.

Requirements

• Map command to functionality
• Map functionality to implementation

File management commands

Implement file management commands. Depends on #2 first.

• :move: Similar to vim-eunuch
• :rename: Similar to vim-eunuch
• :chmod: Similar to vim-eunuch

Find

Use / to search the current directory, similar to vim's search feature.

Signal Handling

Need to pass signals effectively through the application; #1 and #2 are good examples. Possibly observer pattern?

Key Handler

Extract key-handling functionality to its own module, to declutter BFF.

Handle window resizing

Window resizing breaks the screen currently. Needs to be fixed!!
