Installation

Ubuntu and derivatives

You can install Papirus icon themes for Claws Mail from our official PPA:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:papirus/papirus
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install claws-mail-themes-papirus

or download .deb packages from here.

Arch Linux

You can install Papirus icon themes for Claws Mail from AUR by installing papirus-claws-mail-theme-git package:

pacaur -S papirus-claws-mail-theme-git

Papirus Installer

Use the scripts to install the latest version directly from this repo (independently on your distro):

Install / Update

Manual Install

1. Install dependencies:

   • git
   • make
   • librsvg2-bin

2. Run the following commands as normal user:

   git clone https://github.com/PapirusDevelopmentTeam/papirus-claws-mail-theme.git
   cd papirus-claws-mail-theme
   make build
   sudo make install
   

3. Start Claws Mail and choose a theme.

New "Sign" and "Encrypt" icons for composer window

Since Claws 3.16.0 which was released only a few days ago you can add a "encrypt" and "sign" toggle buttons to the toolbar of the composer window. At the moment this icons look out of place, probably because this icons didn't exists in earlier claws mail version.

Would be great if you could add some icons for this new actions to this awesome theme. 😃

Tray icons are semi-transparent

There is some transparency in the tray icons, which, if I'm not wrong, doesn't fit with the other Papirus icons that are totally opaque.

EDIT: I'm sorry, they are not in fact transparent, however their colour is still not the same for the other Papirus icons. Screenshot attached.

Can you make it for windows ?

I use claw mail version 3.17.3 on windows 10 LTSC 1809, but claw mail is all white. I seek a dark theme and yours is, but can you make a version for windows or at least tell me how can get it to work for windows ?

Make Delete Icon Different from Trash Icon

In the dark theme the delete icon is the same as the trash icon.
As they have different actions can the delete icon be changed to something else.
In some themes this is represented by a "shredder".

Using Papirus-Dark the background remains white

I'm trying to use papirus-dark on my debian 10 claws-mail but the background remains white. What I've to check?

Missing mail_draft icon

There's a missing icon for “save to draft folder” button in compose window. Judging by the stock_pixmap.h file the proper name for the icon file should be “mail_draft” (stock_pixmap.h has STOCK_PIXMAP_MAIL_DRAFT defined).
