SmartInvest: An Investment Simulation Environment

This project was made as part of an initiative to help raise awareness about the importance of responsible money management for young adults.

Getting Started

Dependencies

• Python 3.8.8

• currency_converter 0.5.5

• CurrencyConverter 0.16.6

• finnhub_python 2.4.6

• Flask 2.0.2

• Jinja2 3.0.2

Installing

To install all above libraries at one input this below command in the terminal.

pip install -r requirements.txt

Executing program

• Open a terminal
• cd to current directory containing 'app.py'
• Run the following command

python -m flask run
