It's unclear what license your code is distributed under. It seems to lack any license what-so-ever, which is bad, as it declares an implicit copyright without explaining how others can use your code.

Basically, as it stands now, this is what applies to your code:

Without a license, the code is copyrighted by default. People can read the code, but they have no legal right to use it. To use the code, you must contact the author directly and ask permission.

So, yeah, anyone using your code is likely doing so at peril.

Please include a license for clarification.

Instead of completely overriding SetCursor, could it be possible to hook the existing SetCursor call, take the resulting bitmap, upscale it, and then use that as the replacement cursor? That way we can basically use YoloMouse to make the game cursors larger without having to manually add them all.

I play at 4K resolution, and not all games have the ability to change the cursor size. So this would be really helpful.

I stop moving my mouse at about 8 seconds, and my fps goes right back to my cap, but any other time it plummets from me moving my mouse.

Using YoloMouse in combination with firefox, cursor always disappears hovering over link, buttons, anything clickable on webpage and we know most pages are filled with these.

I have tried chromium based browser (Brave and Vivaldi) and that seem to work fine.

I'm attaching a small video to show how it looks like.

Possible to filter out programs which YoloMouse could interfere with?

I have to reopen YoloMouse to make it work again. Doesn't matter if running as Admin or normal.

While yolomouse is open I have to hit alt + tab an extra time to get to the program I want, once I reach that program I have to click into it to start using it (especially frustrating for anything I want to type in like an IDE or game). This extends to the windows interface itself, when hitting the windows button on the keyboard I cannot start typing in the search bar until I manually click onto the interface. These issues stop when I kill yolomouse so I'm pretty certain this is the culprit. For fullscreen games they sometimes focus out of the fullscreen/borderless windowed/windowed mode I left them in.

One thing that may be of interest is that I have my windows screen size set to 125 percent (right click desktop -> display settings -> Scale and layout), this causes issues in other apps so could be related or just a red herring.

win11 is not officially up, but i decided to report the issue, because i loved the idea behind your tool. Even bumped that payment link ;) anyhow. installer works, program works whatsoever. The game i've tested this was with World of Warcraft. Behavior is as follows:

• was able to choose from only 1 type of other - adding new cursors seems to makes no effect
• same goes for the advanced cursors with animation - only per type (no colors) were available
• resizing works pretty fine

that's it, hope to see at least initial update of this lovely shit ;)

There's no way to identify the currently installed version of YoloMouse. Neither the executable nor the dlls show version info. An "About" dialog in the system tray icon could be another way of solving this.

Windows7 with deactivated WDM / lastest ym release (11.3 beta)

• most windowselements becoming unclickable / unusable for mouseinteractions
• yolomouses taskbaricon popupmenue closes prematurely/automatically after 1 sec. kinda impossible to select stuff there.
• taskmanager gets pushed into background
  -> makes it hard to even stop/kill the yolomouse process

no problems with YM version 10.0

Windows7 WITH activated WDM,11.3.b - stuff seems to work - but-
minor issue: 3d overlay activated on desktop e.g from rivatuner/afterburner

In games (e.g. LoL) or programs (e.g. Chrome) the default cursor is correctly set by YoloMouse. But if you hover over e.g. a textfield in Chrome or an enemy in LoL the cursor changes to the game default. Is it possible to override even this cursor ?

When I turn on the custom cursor，both the game's built-in cursor and my customized cursor will be displayed

When hovering over different vendors, herbs, people to attack etc. the default function for the wow cursor is for it to change the icon to the picture of a flower, a sword or an anvil depending on what you are trying to do. In the beginning of the expansion this worked, but lately it has not been working.

I have tried to reinstall the icon.

Version 0.11.3 x64, Windows 10 Enterprise v2004, Nvidia 2080TI

Having YoloMouse enabled disables GSync. The GSync Indicator overlay does not appear, and screen tearing suggests GSync is fully disabled.

Reproduced in a random assortment of games (e.g. Garry's Mod, Guild Wars 2, Dragon's Dogma). Closing YoloMouse brings the indicator back, and opening YoloMouse removes it. Running YoloMouse as Administrator does not seem to make a difference.

(pic related) Yolomouse creates a profile for the process in focus at the time. If I enter my email address, or mention someone on a chat platform, that process will have a yolomouse cursor, and I'll have to delete the .ini file and restart yolomouse.

Does not work with DirectX 11 and Path of Exile.

is it possible to add custom cursors ? Or to use the WIndows one?

The thing is I am so so so addicted to Starcraft 1 cursor so I well just LOVE it and .. it will be AWESOME if I can have it in every RTS/MMO game.

Please give option to change this, it is really annoying to have a different cursor when mouse over, really bad design decision. I just want to change the color not the complete cursor, especially not into a circle one.

Uninstalled yolomouse awhile ago and now I'm trying to reinstall it. It says that the feature is on a network resource is unavailable. When I hit cancel it says the older version of yolomouse cannot be removed.

Edit: Had to do with some registry key, simply deleted it and it worked.

I don't have admin on a PC but the installer requires it. Any chance to get an installer without admin, or a portable exe?
