I got to chapter 23 in the eight edition and I'm noticing that the instructions in the tutorial disregard any previous work done to save the data as JSON and assume all the new entries are not being persisted. The code in the snapshots that show the first errors encountered also looks very different to how the app is implemented at that point. It also disregards the work done to use collection views instead of table views.
