An option to configure where the bookmarks file is stored would be nice.
Maybe something like

[[ -f $ZFM_FILE ]] &&  local bookmarks_file="$ZFM_FILE" || :

Then users could export ZFM_FILE="$HOME/.dots/zfm.txt" to choose it's location.

Can you make a feature to save any random string? Sometimes I like to run complex commands but I wish to be able to select them from a list, maybe change them here and there then execute them.

I would like also to have a feature to save identifier text beside command text, identifier text is a custom optional tag and will be used as a hashtag to narrow searching for commands, or categorizing them.

zfm add tar -xkv -o ~/Download/ -c #achive

for example, by default:
crt+o is mapped to #files
ctr+p is mapped to #directory
another crt+x is mapped to #backupcommands
etc...

I don't believe your instructions tell people to install "coreutils" on OSX. I ran into "command not found: realpath" before I ran brew install coreutils

When I use Ctrl + o or Ctrl + p, I get the message:
No such widget fzf-redraw-prompt

Both functionalities work fine. It is just that this message appears each time and that is kind of annoying. Otherwise the plugin is quite amazing.
