Reproduction doesn't work without `reloadOnChange` = true.
Hi, I found your repo from the .NET core issue thread and tried to reproduce it.
I expected that by alternating between the lines in Startup.cs,
//.Configure<MyOptions>(o => this.configuration.Bind(nameof(MyOptions), o)) // Doesn't detect changes
.Configure<MyOptions>(this.configuration.GetSection(nameof(MyOptions))) // Detects changes correctly
I would be able to toggle the live reload of appsettings.json according to your description. Instead, I've found that the reload doesn't trigger on either, unless I change
.ConfigureAppConfiguration(builder => builder.AddJsonFile("appsettings.json"))
to
.ConfigureAppConfiguration(builder => builder.AddJsonFile("appsettings.json", false, true)) // reloadOnChange = true
in Program.cs.
Did I miss something?
