mastery-system-gradebook's Issues

Exam Add

Add exam grades as NA to exam_grade dataframe

Data Base

  • How does grade entry work in Excel?
  • Can I use names instead of numbers for the student id?
  • Can I sort the rows in exam_grade any way I’d like when entering grades?
  • Would it be possible to put each new exam on a separate sheet in the excel file?
  • Would it be possible to alter the layout of the exam_grade sheet, making it more like a grid with a row for each student and a column for each question?
  • How are students added at the beginning of the semester?

Student View Changes

  • After a question has been mastered, can we hide the line for that question on future exams?
  • On the graph, can we make it so the vertical scale only includes integer values?
  • Can we include exam, grade, and question filters like they appear on the professor side?
  • When a new homework is added, but scores haven’t been entered yet, it would be best if that 0% didn’t factor into the student’s homework average. Is there a way to do that?

Spread sheet data

Deployment:
Read in the gradebook instance and not create one every time

App Data:
Homework create saving using sheets

Bigger Scale

  • What are plans with security?
  • How does it work when I have multiple classes?

Exam Grades

Filter to find the 'top' grade in each topic.

Professor View Changes

  • In the sliding scales for the filters, could we include only integer values?
  • Exams aren’t always consecutive lists of questions. Would it be possible to enter the questions on an exam through a list or using check boxes to indicate which questions are on an exam? (I could enter the total number of questions at the beginning of the semester.)
