Examples

Start a container and open the shell

docker run -it thedrhax/android-sdk bash

Build the project in current directory

docker run -it -v $(pwd):/usr/app/src thedrhax/android-sdk gradle build

Persistent Android SDK and caches

• -v android-sdk:/home/user/android-sdk-linux
• -v gradle-cache:/home/user/.gradle
• -v android-cache:/home/user/.android

android-sdk's Issues

Configure retry / timeout for gradle

gradle fails multiple times trying to get resources with Read timed out errors.

This is configurable in gradle: gradle/gradle#4629

get rid of user ownership

switching to a generic "user" instead of root causes permission conflicts when integrating with volumes from other containers.

does not add much value...
