This project creates an HTML-based slippy map that shows the coverage of satellite/aerial imagery in the Philippines that is available for tracing by OpenStreetMap contributors.
Currently, the included Perl script takes an OSM file with a specific tagging and outputs a JSON file containing the outline data. This JSON file is then used by the HTML file's embedded JavaScript to create Leaflet vectors.
There is no reason not to use GeoJSON to encode the outline data and this promotes interoperability. The whole data can be implemented as a FeatureCollection object containing each outline group as a Feature object. Each outline group is then composed of a MultiPolygon object.
So the Perl script must be recoded to output GeoJSON and the HTML file's JavaScript must be recoded to consume the said GeoJSON file.
