Canon 5DS on Mac 10.14.6 getting Error: Canon EOS 5DS Shutter count: gp_widget_get_child failed.

On trying to get shutter count on Canon EOS Rebel T7i, it displays the following error message:
Shutter count: gp_widget_get_child failed.

Hello, Canon EOS R and 6D Mark II same problem, i cant see shutter count. I have MAC OS SONOMA.

Turns for a long time when trying to connect to 6D Mark II then spits out:

No camera detected.
Try again.

Your site shows this instruction for using the software: "switch camera communication settings to PTP".

My camera, a Canon Rebel T4i, doesn't have communication settings. What setting (if any) should I engage on the T4i to use freeshuttercounter?

Would like to know if you are planning to make this available for more devices, like the G5 X.
Unfortunately any other tool I found was not working with the above device or was paid.
The "Free Shutter Counter" would work I believe, but I'd need to pay for it, as it is not free... :/

Or, if you have any tips how I could check my shutter count on my G5 X, I would be very happy.

I attempted to use this program on a T7 rebel unfortunately did not work when I deleted it it still appears on the Launchpad is there some sort of uninstall procedure or do I got to wipe my computer?

Is it ObjectiveC? Do you wanna try Swift 2?
