Needs app2sd badly This app would be great for accessing my online bank.
However, due to its size (>14MB) and the inability to install it to SD, I am
unable to use it on my (very much internal-storage-space-challenged) HTC Desire.
Please provide any additional information below.

There are some parts of honeycomb that are already public.
So browser for 3.x can be created.
Do you like this idea or it is no matter to you?
I will implement it if there is any need for it.
The source code for the GPL and LGPL components of Android 3.2 is
available in the Android Open-Source Project, under the tag
android-3.2_r1
The process to build it is the same as what we had for 3.0 and 3.1:
# start from a master client
repo init -m 3.2-base.xml
repo sync
repo forall -c git checkout android-3.2_r1
# build with the regular process
# to come back to a plain master
repo init -m default.xml
repo sync
The caveats are unchanged since 3.1:
-the checkout command will return an error message because the tag
doesn't exist in all projects, ignore it.
-the compiled isn't any more likely to work on actual hardware as 3.1
did, since the same binary incompatibilities are still there.

If SandroB is used only for browsing
without need for SSL client certificates,
it is annoying that popup appears on every new https site.
There should be setting ON/OFF for SSL client certificates.

IIS always negotiates client-certificates using re-negotiation:
a first handshake is successful, without any client-certificate request,
but then, a second handshake is triggered.
This doesn't work with android.
IIS must be configured that it request client certificate in the first
negotiation.
This is done with clientcertnegotiation=enable option of netsh command.

It is not safe to have certfile on /mnt/sdcard.
Idea is to store file in browser database.
There would be check-box on input form (certfile/password)
if you like to store it locally.
By default this check-box would be unchecked.
Also if you later uncheck it, it would perform delete from database.
Do you like this idea or it is no matter to you?
I will implement it if there is any need for it.

User comment:
I leave the SandroB browser running in memory. I've noticed after
approximately 12 hours, I have to renter the certificate password. I
understand the security concerns and agree it should timeout. However, it
would be useful to allow the user to adjust the timeout value in Settings in
order to align the value with his/her security needs. The new value could take
affect after a Menu --> Clear so someone could not override the current session
settings.

User comment:
From the docs:
"Store is encrypted with symmetric key which is generated from device id, user
password and some random pre-generated salt. After 3 failed attempts
certificate is delete from the store. "
I almost have to leave the cert on the SDCard because I have hit the threshold
above from time to time when entering the user password (incorrectly). The 3
failed attempts don't have to be in a row, they appear to be cumulative. So
eventually, with a mis-keyed user password here and there, the certificate is
deleted from the store. It could be useful if the "# failed attempts" counter
was reset after a successful user password entry.

Currently dialog for client certificate shows
before making connection to server.
Proper way is that some SSL handshake is performed,
and client from Server Hello message sees
if client certificate is needed.
An from which CA's.
Examine if android supports this on 2.2 or 2.3.
If it does, logic can be changed that dialog appears only
when is really needed.

Currently is not implemented.
It must be done that when we make CONNECT request for proxy
we can get back 401 with digest type of handshake.
This is done for ntlm/basic but not for digest.

Force closes right after loading start page. Happens every time on HTC Desire
with official 2.2 OS.
Consistently force-closes immediately on launch. (In case it matters, device is
temp-rooted via Visionary app.)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Search for and install SandroB from Android Market (version 0.9.4)
2. Tap Menu, then More
3. Tap Settings
4. No option available for importing client certificate
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to find some sort of UI setting for importing client certs. I read
somewhere about an option called "SandroB Specific Settings" but can't find it.
There are no instructions or UI that I can find for importing a certificate.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
The version in the Android Market, 0.9.4, running on an original Motorola Droid
running stock Android 2.2.2 (FRG83G)
Please provide any additional information below.
Attempted to download and install beta from downloads page
(sandrob_xxjvk_0_9_5_8.apk) but it won't install; see Issue 9.

There should be more native libraries depending on phone processor.
one for armeabi and one for armeabi-v7a.
In core are also swithches that makes code for armeabi-v7a build different way.
This makes apk bundle bigger but performance on phones with armeabi-v7a or
higher processor is improved.
