attendees-list's Issues

Group creation left out some users

I created a group using a txt file of 61 usernames, but the resulting group was missing three users. That's although neither the script, nor the Discourse API returned an error.

Should check whether this can be replicated. If it can (or even if not), we should test the new group right after creating it and if there is a mismatch it should be reported.

Username check fails sometimes

The check whether a username exists in the forum fails for the user Mqaic. Somehow that seems to depend on the sort option in the API request: for the currently used days_visited it fails, for others it doesn't. I don't understand why the set of users returned depends on the sort order.

workshop.openmod-initiative.org

Could the results of all this be packaged in HTML and hosted at workshop.openmod-initiative.org? Saves having lots of tinyURLs popping up in the wiki and provides a template that is repopulated on the start of each new workshop (archives of previous workshops are kept on the wiki)

I guess we'd then need our own feedback form, etc, unless we can embed Google forms

Parse Markdown in user profiles

User profiles can contain markdown, in particular in the bio field. Currently we retrieve bio_raw which contains the raw markdown. The booklet then will show the raw markdown.

Instead we should convert markdown to html and show that.

Make booklet mobile friendly

The booklet is currently not very mobile friendly. It's not too bad and everything is visible, but at least on my 4" screen the text is too small.
