Features:

• realtime data processing from CAN-USB devices (Arduino + MCP2151 ) I've used this https://github.com/latonita/arduino-canbus-monitor
• saving received data to log files for further processing
• playback log files
• separate messages by sender id, assigning human readable description to senders
• global filter data mask
• separate filter data mask for each sender
• detecting total message count, unique messages, new messages after making snapshot per each sender
• message investigating with data comparer
• holding sender descriptions between sessions

Known issues:

• CAN bus baud-rate setting is ignored yet

Build and run on Linux OS

Can I build and use it on Linux systems?

I have installed .Net on CentOS 7 x86_64, but what about build dependencies?

Unable to read information from car

I want to make the Volvo low-speed CAN bus adapter for my 2007 XC90 but I am failing at the first hurdle of getting canbus information using CANLogger

I expected on the left hand side to have an address like 01234567 using 7 digits/letters hex but instead I get 00000123 using only last 3 digits/letters hex and I can't seem to link any information to anything useable. For example I press steering wheel buttons to find this but I see no obvious codes from this I just get hundreds of constant codes that I cant understand

I have attached short video and logdata I hope you can help me understand this and get this to work and get the information I need to build Volvo can bus adapter
