Can't load measurements after changing sampling frequency in preferences

If the user changes the sampling sampling frequency (e.g. from 10 to 20 Hz), measurements recorded with 10Hz can no longer be loaded. A error message is shown, that "the file does not contain valid training data". This should be fixed, such that after changing the sampling frequency, old data can still be loaded.

Program only starts when sensor is not attached

If I try to start the program with the weight sensor attached there are two beep sounds but nothing visible happens.
The program starts right into the gui without the sensor attached, but with the Warning: "Could not detect weight sensor! Please connect a fingerboard to your computer." Which is correct :-)

If I can do anything to help debug this problem, please let me know.
