So if you start playback from a note off screen, the kalimba will not scroll to it
probably has to do with the music library im using. perhaps getting the kalimba note sound files myself will help with this?
something in commit 8ee454c kinda bodied the performance of the playback. Maybe giving every note its own context menu slowed it down? or maybe the tempo checking?
Just wondering if you've considered writing this as part of the open-source Musescore software rather than stand-alone. I don't know how much harder it would be, but you'd end up getting a ton of features, such as MIDI playback / DAW integration and Mac OS X builds, for "free".
It does support tabs for some instruments already - https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tablature
I'm not a good programmer, but if you are interested but don't have time to investigate, I'd be happy to do an investigation into this and report the results back here.
might have to do with the await delay
in the exportToPDF function in TabCreator
Probably has to do with the kalimba container. Might need to refactor TabCreator's styling
if you are in a key with a raised note, if you add an accidental it will remove the note number, i.e.:
G#5 ---> add a sharp ---> G##
Just to separate notes and and look nicer
probably should remake the function to use the kalimba
element instead of kalimbaContainer
, since you can screenshot the entire thing in one go
so if I extend the song, go to one of the new notes and click it, it will apply the note properties to every note in that tine instead of just the one I clicked
Maybe I just haven't found to option, but I'm using a kalimba with numbers on the tines and note letters.
Would it be possible to add it ?
I.e., if you put a G#5 in the song originally, when you reopen it the sharp will not rerender, but it will play the correct note
When exporting to pdf, some notes will be left out. Probably due to export function scrolling an incorrect amount of pixels per page.
