Difficult to track the pressure cooker whistle counts? This Android app makes use of phone (Android only) microphone to count the cooker whistles and rings an alarm once the desired count is reached. No more missing the real count of the whistles, avoid food getting over/under cooked.

Instructions:

1. Keep the phone with the app started within 2 meter distance from the pressure cooker.
2. It does not matter if there are other noise sources around. The app uses combination of amplitude and frequency to detect the cooker-whistle.

Must have a reset button to reset the whistle count

At present the whistle counter app must be closed and opened again to reset the counter it would be helpful if the stop button also resets the counter .. thus the phone would ring and the user can switch off the cooker and press reset button to begin count from 0 again

Dead settings button

The settings button returns nothing. It is just a dead button.

Should it work, I can’t think of any useful settings the window should contain other than the option to choose alarm tone from a set of listed tones.
This can additionally contain a dark mode switcher if needed, but is absolutely un-necessary from functionality pov.

Its great app, inspired me a lot. thanks for your great work

1. it counts cooker whistle from our neighbour too.
2. it counts twice when cooker runs for long whistle.
