compartmentalize the system
this is a big micro-project. i'm on it.
need to daemonize program
obviously this works best if the user can run it as a daemon; otherwise the user needs to keep an instance of sbcl running in their sight, and that's just not ideal.
need object definitions
we'll discuss inclusion of :c2mop in the case that clos methodology is selected.
log & pid files need to be hidden &or archived
their visibility isn't necessary and makes confusing the project source's home directory. find an elegant way to deal with this.
