A website for E-Auction business.

Goal of the project

There is an increasing trend in on-line auction and on-line shopping these days. The goal of this project is to build an E-Auction website to facilitate people's daily shopping and bidding. People can use our website to browse, search, buy things, bid and sell things on-line. We also provide shipping, payment, comments and buying history for users.

Why

XAMPP is a free and open source cross-platform web server solution stack package, consisting mainly of the Apache HTTP Server, MySQL database, and interpreters for scripts written in the PHP and Perl programming languages. It is very easy to use.

Milestones

1. Display items in the database on the homepage.
2. Display searching results on the website after user input.
3. Provide bidding process for users.

Starting and running the application

Install XAMPP Put related files in htdocs folder of XAMPP. Start Apache server or Tomcat server. Start MySQL. Input in the Chrome browser: localhost/hub-login.php
