My yosys netlists have parameters:
"$add$input.v:17$3": {
"hide_name": 1,
"type": "$add",
"parameters": {
"A_SIGNED": 0,
"A_WIDTH": 9,
"B_SIGNED": 0,
"B_WIDTH": 2,
"Y_WIDTH": 10
},
"attributes": {
"src": "input.v:17"
}
It also has attributes.
Here's my idea. Recently, I've been thinking about how to make the template nodes more parameterizable. For instance adding <text>
nodes that hold information about the cell that they represent.
<g s:type="add" transform="translate(50, 150)" s:width="25" s:height="25">
<s:alias val="$add"/>
<text s:value="parameters">parameter placeholder </text>
<circle r="12.5" cx="12.5" cy="12.5" />
...
Then the text in the <text>
node could be replaced with
"A_SIGNED": 0,
"A_WIDTH": 9,
"B_SIGNED": 0,
"B_WIDTH": 2,
"Y_WIDTH": 10
I think the text either has be considered a "label" of the node or it has to be within the parent bounding box defined by s:width
and s:height
. Otherwise the wires will get routed through it.
