I really hope somebody saved an archive of that thread or has a better description of this issue. I don't want to close it though since I'd bet my legs the issue is still around. Gonna mark it as invalid until somebody adds a description or something.

the solution for the firelocks is just changing the firelocks layer when they close, to make them appear on top of normal airlocks.

about movement, I removed a bunch of spawn() procs from there, so it isn't so bad now.
About mobs and projectiles (mobs walking past projectiles), the bump() proc of projectiles have a spawn(), baystation just removed that a few days ago.
