This is just a simple directory of some of the things I am currently interested in or things I have done over the years. You can also (very occasionally) find me on Twitter.

Programming

• URL Shortener - This is a simple URL shortener that runs on AppEngine. I use this all the time, for example you probably followed the link http://go.nthn.ca/me to get to this page. I use shortened links all the time because if you give links easy to remember names it saves a significant amount of time. Also it is easy to set things up so that in Chrome all I have to type is "go me", and it automatically just works, awesome.
• Curator - Simple little tool for managing my photos. Clunky but works for me.

• Discord Bot - Doesn't do much, just playing around here.
• Datastore Interface - Creates a consistent API between normal and AppEngine interface.
• Containers
• inactive - Small utility I use to automatically shutdown my machines that I haven't used for some period of time. I often work on GCE instances and this helps reduce costs by not accidentally leaving them running when I am not using them.

Learning (resources for my children or others)

• Want to learn to write your own programming language? I created a very simple language called cookie and implemented it in Python - Cookie and Go - Cookie. Both implementations are only a few hundred lines of code and could be fun and informational to try to improve. Some ideas for improvement are listed in their respective README files.
• My son and I have also been working on a small little webserver.
