DB-Project

A demo movie-related web-application, with an underlying MySQL database schema.

  1. Documentation and explanations can be found in SOFTWARE-DOCS.pdf.
  2. Data was taken from Kaggle and OMDB API and was handled using kaggle_21st_century_movies.py, OMDB_API.py and create_people_list.py.
  3. DB was created and filled using CREATE-DB-SCRIPT.sql and insert_into_tables.py.
  4. Querying the DB - app_demo.py.
