MISP2 (Mini-Information System Portal) is an application that provides an easy way to query data over X-Road. Its easy-to-use web-based user interface provides a unified way to access different services.

The source code of MISP2 is open for all and it is licensed under the MIT licence.

Support disclaimer

The following activities, among others, are undertaken by the Nordic Institute for Interoperability Solutions (NIIS) with regard to the MISP2 software:

X-Road Technology Partners are enterprises providing X-Road consultation services, e.g. deploying independent X-Road instances, developing X-Road extensions and X-Road-compatible services, integrating informations systems with X-Road etc.

No support for MISP2 deployment is provided here.

Credits

• MISP2 was originally developed by the Estonian Information System Authority during 2015-2020.
• In 2020 it was agreed that Nordic Institute for Interoperability Solutions (NIIS) takes maintenance responsibility.

misp2-web-app's Issues

Problems with the Estonian mobileID implementation

Currently, it appears that the Estonian MobileID implementation has some issues:

• If the "mobileID.rest.trustStore.password" parameter is not set, the service fails to start even if mobileID is not used
• The "mobileID.rest.trustStore.path" variable is used to search inside the classpath only, which means that the store must be located in the "/var/lib/tomcat8/webapps/misp2/WEB-INF/classes" folder - the user should be able to specify an absolute path in the filesystem instead
• If the trust store is not found or can not be accessed (file doesn't exist, incorrect file permissions, incorrect password), it just fails silently and the first error is received when the user tries to log in with the mobileID
