When I want to reproduce the results of ‚test-solve.jpynb‘-notebook I figured out that the methods there do not match to the methods in src. In ‚src‘ I find several ‚Iceberg.initialize1d‘ methods. Which to use for the test-solve-case? Trying all 3 but didn’t reproduce the results. I already adapted the 3 argument version of the notebook to the 2 argument version of src and adapted to Julia-0.4.5. Are there update notebooks or updated sources?

Write a version of interp1d that doesn't extrapolate, and use for velocity interpolation.

The solutions in the nfronts test develop upward pointing wings on the edges, which deviate from the correct signed distance.

Options

• becomes nan (current behaviour, but could be implemented more explicitly)
• raises an error
• becomes a real constant (not correct, technically, but maybe useful?)

Mostly this will require a 2d (nd) version of front_velocity, as well as writing tests for the 2d heat solvers and reinitialization code.
