I am having similar issue with Laravel 5.3 as mention in issue no. #1

Any clue how can I fix it.

I've followed the install instructions but I'm getting the following error.

Fatal error: Class 'Enzim\Lib\TikaWrapper\TikaWrapper' not found in /usr/lib/tika/PhpTikaWrapper/example/with-composer/usage.php on line 17

Any suggestions on what might be wrong here?

I have Installed Composer on our server path /opt/cpanel/composer/bin/composer
and after that i have downloaded PhpTikaWrapper from https://github.com/pierroweb/PhpTikaWrapper and upload folder on server after that i have installed composer phar under the PhpTikaWrapper (Same process that given https://github.com/pierroweb/PhpTikaWrapper) and i got "autoload.php" under the Vendor folder, but when i directally run on browser "PhpTikaWrapper/example/with-composer/usage.php" its not giving response. I have also change and check path of "require 'vendor/autoload.php' but its not giving response.

I seems TikaWrapper class not working print_r(TikaWrapper::getMetaData($testFile));

Please suggest me where is mistake at my end.

if i run the usage.php file trough ssh it works,
but it doesnt work in the browser, i just get an empty file.

TikaWrapper::getMetaData($file);
gives me regular text instead of php array.. why is that?

I’m using your package with Laravel 4 which already load Symphony/Process 2.3.*

I’m unable to load your package through composer because you require "symfony/process": "2.1.*"

I installed it manually and it seems to work fine with 2.3. So may I suggest you change the require line to:

"symfony/process": "~2.1" (Next Significant Release)

The autoload.php file appears to be missing in the download.

I try to get text from file with russian name like "Тест.docx" and get error:

I am trying to use this package with Laravel 6 and there's a conflict with symfony/process.

Please update composer.json to use
