First, thank you for your nice work!

I tried to apply this commit c4e5e6f on my GMenu2X repo (DrUm78/gmenu2x@816e756) for the FunKey S device but that does not work. Indeed, it compiles fine but it does simply nothing, it still opens the file browser at the top of the rom list although the last rom launched is written correctly in my "$HOME/.gmenu2x/sections/emulators/<CONFIG_FILE>":

selectordir=/media/Nintendo/GBA/
selectorfile=Super Mario Advance 2 - Super Mario World (E).zip

Any idea why? By the way, it works fine with your GMenu2X (Rogue fw) on the RG350P.

GMenu2x scans apps folder to detect changes of opk files.
But the links created in /local/home/.gmenu2x are not removed if a corresponding opk file is removed.
So if you make changes to desktop files (inside opk) the changes are not reflected until you manually remove old links.
This can be reproduced by changing the title value in a desktop file. The change will not be reflected until you remove old links and reupload the opk file.

When Exec in desktop file is defined with %f we can select a file to run with the program. When exiting a program (emulator) we are back to the file selection but the selected item now is one above the previous selection.
I can reproduce it on GMenu2X build date Mar 11 2021 in emulators: Fuse and Picodrive.
