Ideally, an app will attach to the device and download data on the fly rendering it for the user.

The in-flight data is not all that accurate as it uses such a small window on that data. Also, if it detects an event in real-time, it can't rewind to clarify that. Post-processing is therefore required.

The sensor logging frequency for the project is 18Hz so all of the refresh rates on the sensors are set to the closest rate above this: what is the point of using more power if you can't get the data any faster?

For some of the sensors that use oversampling, this might be beneficial.

For things like acceleration sensors, a more extended refresh might pick up the higher peaks.

On my Mac, everything compiles fine. On my Dell with the same library list. it does not. There is also a difference in compiled binary size, so there is something getting confused.

Ability to use more ESP32 chips like the S2 that does not have BLE, but with the low energy consumption and packet size benefits, but with added range - find a landed device.
