Development

The source code for this website is written in TypeScript and built with Webpack. The data is stored in JSON files in the data/ directory.

Required software

• Git
• Node.js & Yarn

Optional, but recommended:

• GNU Make
• Docker & Docker Compose

Getting started

Clone this repository and run make inside the project directory to install dependencies and build the website. Run docker-compose up -d to build and run the Docker container. Open a browser and go to http://localhost:8000 to view the website.

If you cannot run make on your system, manually run yarn install and node_modules/.bin/webpack --mode=development.

If you don't have Docker and Docker Compose installed, instead run yarn serve to run a simple web server.

Tests

Unit tests are written with Jest. Execute yarn test to run them.

Deployment

A new Docker image is automatically built and deployed to Kubernetes when new commits are pushed to the master branch.

Display information about fund manager voting behaviour

I think it would be interesting to see which fund managers vote in a more sustainable direction. Just ESG exclusions don't give the entire picture, IMHO.

Support different fund TERs based on invested capital

Starting January 1st 2022, Meesman will charge different costs for Aandelen Wereldwijd Totaal based on invested capital. Investors with less than € 1 million will be assigned to Participatieklasse A with a TER of 0.4%. Investors with € 1 million or more will be assigned to Participatieklasse B with a TER of 0.25%.

Goedemorgen,

De kosten van ING zijn tegenwoordig als volgt:

T/m € 100.000 | 0,24%
Over het meerdere t/m € 500.000 | 0,12%
Over het meerdere t/m € 2.500.000 | 0,06%

Momenteel staan die veel lager, waardoor dit een verkeerd beeld schetst.

Minimum marktkapitalisatie "off by one" error

Voor de minimum marktkapitalisatie wordt gebruikt gemaakt van marktkapitalisatie > waarde terwijl dit marktkapitalisatie >= waarde zou moeten zijn. Nu worden fondsen met een marktkapitalisatie van 93% alleen getoond wanneer de ingevoerde waarde lager is dan 93.

Meesman calculation missing Fund Service Fees?

The Meesman website lists Transaction Fees of 0,25% which seem to be taken into account in the calculator on indexfondsenvergelijken.nl. However, they also mention Fund Service Fees (Fondskosten) of 0,4% when investing in their Aandelen Wereldwijd Totaal fund, and 0,5% for their other funds.

It looks like these fees are not taken into account for the calculations on indexfondsenvergelijken.nl. Or am I missing something?

Add costs of checking account

Description

Some platforms (e.g. ING, ABN AMRO and Rabobank) require users to have a checking account if they want to open an investment account. These checking accounts cost ~€1.90 per month. If you open a checking account to get access to an investment account, these costs are essentially an added service cost.

Because platforms have different prices, it might be beneficial to open a new bank account instead of opening an investment account at the bank you use for your daily checking account. For example, in certain cases a checking + investment account at ABN AMRO is cheaper than an investment account at ING, because of the higher transaction fees and basefee of the ING.

It would be great to add these costs to the website. Ideally, these costs would be added by default and users can select which bank accounts they already have, so that the costs are not part of their investment calculus.

WEBG toevoegen

Zou het mogelijk zijn om Amundi Prime All Country World UCITS ETF, WEBG, IE0009HF1MK9 toe te voegen aan de vergelijker? Het wordt o.a. door Mr FOB beschreven op diens blog en lijkt me een interessante aanvulling op in ieder geval Vanguard ETF's omdat het ook een World+EM in 1 fonds betreft.

Waarom is minimum marktkapitalisatie belangrijk?

Hi, omdat de default op 70% is, is NN Enhanced + NN Enhanced EM niet zichtbaar omdat de grens op 57% ligt.

Het is niet duidelijk voor mij wat dit allemaal betekent.

Kosten Meesman

Voor zover ik het kan zien, wordt er bij Meesman aan aantal zaken niet meegenomen:

• de transactiekosten bij Meesman verdwijnen bij meer dan €500k belegd vermogen
• voor Meesman wereldwijd totaal geldt dat de kosten voor een belegd vermogen van hoger dan €1M nog maar 0,25% per jaar bedragen

Zeker bij een hogere inleg of een langere duur maakt dat een significant verschil. Is het mogelijk dat in te voegen?

Hernoem "Verwacht resultaat" naar iets minder ambigu

Ten eerste, heel erg bedankt voor het maken van deze tool!

Voor beginnelingen in ETF-beleggen zoals ik, is het niet meteen duidelijk dat het "Verwacht resultaat" niet het totaal inclusief de inleg is, maar het totaal aan toename.

Ik stel voor om dit dan ook anders te verwoorden. Zou je misschien "Verwachte toename", "Verwachte netto toename", of "Verwachte winst" willen overwegen in plaats van "Verwacht resultaat"?
Of het totaal aan inleg bij verwacht resultaat optellen al dan niet een derde kolom toevoegen waarbij de inleg opgeteld is bij de verwachte toename?

Ik heb hier ook een reddit post op /r/DutchFIRE voor opgestart, want ik acht het waarschijnlijk dat anderen met een betere naam komen dan ik.

Lynx and IB hebben verschillende portfolio's

Lynx is een reseller van IB. Het zou dus logisch zijn als het portfolioaanbod van beide identiek is, met enkel andere kosten.
Maar dat is niet zo, voor IB zijn VWRL en IWDA + EIMM er, terwijl voor Lynx AVIAW + EMIM en AVIAW + EMIM + IUSN er zijn.

ABN Amro voegt 200 ETF's toe aan Zelf Beleggen Basis + transactiekosten zullen gratis zijn

Vanaf maart dit jaar zal ABN Amro 200 ETF's toevoegen aan Zelf Beleggen Basis, en de transactiekosten op ETF's zullen gratis zijn.

Dat maakt VWRD (Vanguard FTSE All-World UCITS ETF IE00B3RBWM25) interessant om te vergelijken.

Hello, thanks for this project, it's pretty cool.

I've been recently investigating the ASN funds, which are registered in the Netherlands, and I'd like to know if it's possible to add them to the website. It would be useful to have an alternative to NT.

ABN at the moment has 2 ASN funds available. I'd like to know if it's possible to add them here to see their performance on ABN.

Update Saxo bank maandelijks inleg.

Ik zie dat ik na controle dat ik fout heb gemaakt.
Saxo AutoInvest werkt meestal alleen voor de NL beurs. Maar komt niet altijd op NL Beurs terecht standaard.
Daardoor leek aantal dat niet Saxo AutoInvest ondersteunde terwijl ze wel konden.
Bij dezen de geüpdatet lijst met extra kolom met de aangepaste versie.

Kosten easyBroker kloppen niet

In het kostenplaatje staat dat ze 50% minder transactiekosten zouden hebben de IBKR.

Alleen easyBroker is een reseller van IBKR en rekenen extra fees.

ING costs have changed

I don't know when this happened, but it seems the costs for investing at ING have changed. Their page at https://www.ing.nl/particulier/beleggen/beginnen-met-beleggen/tarieven/tarieven-zelf-op-de-beurs.html now lists:

daarboven         0,06%

The website, however, still shows:

fitvermogen dividend leak

Fitvermogen is currently listed with 0 dividend leak. In the document they provided for their fonds, NN Enhanced Index Sustainable Equity Fund and NN Enhanced Index Sustainable Em Markets Eq Fund suffer from dividend leakage, as they are not marked with Asterisk. I'm not sure what is the right way to figure out the leakage rate, but I wonder if the current code reflects the reality?

Take internal transaction costs into account

Uitstap Kosten

Geen idee of dit nog wel eens gelezen wordt, maar ik vroeg me af of in de gemaakte kosten op de website indexfondsvergelijken ook de uitstap kosten zijn meegerekend? Ik zag dat bij de northern thrust fondsen 1 of 2 % uitstap vergoeding geldt. Dit is best aanzienlijk natuurlijk. Ben benieuwd!
