The code to generate the dataset and selected interactive results of the research work are available in this repository. The provided dataset contains roughly 225.000 matches played in Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition featuring Match Id, Map, Map Size, Duration, Mean Elo, Civilizations, Starting Positions and Outcomes. The information were collected through scraped recordfiles, which are not publicly shared since they are person-related. It is also available on https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/nicoelbert/aoe-matchups.

Question about 'winner' column in aoe_data.csv

Hey there,

I'm looking at your awesome dataset as a little side project to learn DuckDB. First of all, super cool and thanks a bunch for open sourcing it. quick question about the winner column. Does '0' correspond to p1 winning and '1' correspond to p2 winning the match? thanks
