React Server Components support data

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

Validation

The editing experience for app/page.json isn't great since you have to open or build other files to validate it. A validator like JSON schema or Zod should improve DX.

Redesign

Current UI is very minimal and would probably look better with grids, cards, or other UI components.

Showing pinned or supported React versions

This is easy to check with React.version.

Add Actions

Server Actions are commonly used with Server Components to implement mutations without async data fetching libraries. Additionally, Client Actions can be used without a meta framework. Actions require React Canary but are stable in Next, similarly to Server Components.

CI

Block deploy on CI failure

The deploy and CI workflows are separate, so it's possible for a deploy to happen with CI failing.

Routes or anchors per implementation

For example, /next or /#next could go directly to Next compatibility. This would be more useful if I add more detailed text or logos, which I haven't decided on yet.

Add dependents of `server-only`

server-only is a simple utility package that throws in client components. Its dependents would therefore be a source for more server components.

Optimize images with Next Image

Could help with optimizing after adding logos.

Filter by minimum status

This could be a <select> or equivalent UI component.

Add Gatsby

Support is included with Partial Hydration, which is in beta: gatsbyjs/gatsby#36608

Add logos

Popular packages would probably be easier to recognize with logomarks or logotypes.

Merge data from "Libraries that support RSCs"

I think Libraries that support RSCs is the most complete resource for libraries so far, and Lee Robinson gave me permission to use it.
