Commands:

• sm_trail / sm_trails - Opens the Trail Selection menu.
• sm_hide - Hides other players' trails. // You may want to reset your cookies if you want to use this with a bhop timer.
• sm_trails_override - Overrides the current admin flag. // Use it in admin_overrides.cfg

CVars:

• sm_trails_enable - Enables or Disables all features of the plugin.
• sm_trails_admins_only - Enables trails for admins only. (RESERVATION Flag)
• sm_trails_allow_hide - Allow hiding other players' trails.
• sm_trails_cheap - Force cheap trails (lower quality in exchange for more FPS).
• sm_trails_life - Time duration of the trails.
• sm_trails_width - Width of the trail beams.
• sm_trails_respawn_disable - Disable the player's trail after respawning.

Installation:

1. Drag and drop trails-chroma.smx into your plugins folder
2. Drag and drop trails-colors.cfg into your configs folder
3. Drag and drop the materials folder into your csgo folder
4. Restart the server.

Requirements:

• SourceMod 1.8 or above

trails-chroma's Issues

Add "min_velocity" property.

Add "airtime_only" property.

Clients Crashing if they don't have server downloads enabled

Clients crash when they try to load trails for themselves or from other players, only if they have server downloads disabled - meaning they will not get the trail materials

Is it possible to stop the clients from crashing and instead just allow them to play anyway.

When I'm using this plugin with bot support server, It keeps displays the error. Can you fix this?

What is the default admin tag required for the trails to work and how do you change it?

Spectrum / Wave doesn't work after restart

The spectrum / wave options don't seem to be working after a server restart and occasionally on reconnect (the players selection is saved on the "sm_trails" menu but the actual trail itself doesn't show

Problem with saving trail_choice

Describe the error:
Hello, I noticed that cookie trail_choice cookie does not save player selection after server restart.
Of course server is restarted when nobody is on it.
Can you investigate it?

To Reproduce:

1. Join the server
2. Choose your trail
3. Leave the server
4. Shut down and restart the server
5. Join and your selection the previous selection is not loaded

Trails dont seem to display

I followed the instructions from the installation, but the trails dont seem to display whatsoever ingame. I used the config provided on github and the one from alliedmodders but both dont seem to work, the material files are downloaded from my fastdl server, and i enabled the plugin in my config. Can anyone confirm that its still working or does it have conflicts with the surftimer plugin?

You can add !hide that players could hide display of trails?

Bug with PrintCenterText?

Hi, I tested your plugin, maybe I found a bug. After I was set a trail, func PrintCenterText still updating with some number, can you look at it?

Bug[TF2]: Trails doesn't render on reload or at startup

When I load the plugin/restart it settings doesn't seem to get applied from functions such as GetClientSpecificWidthFromTrail or GetClientSpecificColorFromTrail.

If a set a new trail it works again. Sometimes width does not get set on startup such as yellow bow, but if you put spectrum width gets set but no color. Not entirely sure what gets wrong, guess that sourcepawn for you.
