As mentioned in #5 (comment)
ant build should be possibly dropped. (Once maven/tycho is perfect, and it make too hard to support both)
With that eclipse.sdk
folder should go away too, as it make git repository very heavy.
Git repository maybe will need to be purged or somehow other way change, so that old binaries don't stay in history.
Take a look at https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=humao.rest-client
It is quite nice idea to create/prepare request in clear text.
Having such request in .http
, .rest
files with syntax highlite
Hi, I'm attempting to set up a workstation to develop an HTTP REST API with Eclipse. This plugin looked promising. However, there seems to be an issue when trying to use the HTTP4e Client.
When attempting to open the HTTP4e view (Window->Show View->[...]->HTTP->HTTP4e Client) an error is generated. Initially, I got a message:
Then I set MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME to point at "/usr/lib/mozilla" (as per: http://gangmax.me/blog/2012/06/28/mozilla-five-home-error-in-eclipse/). The error message generated whne trying to open the HTTP4e view changed to:
Details of software:
OS: CentOS7
Eclipse: Indigo Service Release 2 (3.7.2)
Firefox: 52.2.0 (64-bit)
XULRunner: 31.6.0
So, I looked around for this libxpcom.so file, but it's not on my system. I tried installing the XULRunner package for CentOS7, but this doesn't have the file either.
Hi,
I just found this plugin and it looks awesome, unfortunately I seem to have a similar problem as @culmat I only have a blank view where I can open the dialogs but I don't get any tabs to shop so I could actually do something
After I press the + butoon I get a close button in the bottom

Since there has been no activity in a long time from the maintainers I know this is a long shot, but I would really like to use this plugin.

If you interested in additional build with maven,
take a look at https://github.com/Mathieuu/CsvEdit and Mathieuu/CsvEdit@c27c848
Please update https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/http4e-http-and-rest-client-eclipse with feature id to enable install with MPC marketplace client
P.S. and update license as Apache/open source
When trying to export a call to eg Apache HTTP Client 3, the popup labeled "Your call exported as Java Apache HTTP Client 3.x call." remains empty.
No matter which export target is chosen, the messagebox is always emtpy
Does http4e support HTTP2?
Thank you for push access.
In fact, if every PR is merged, it may be even better to go on with usual GitHub flow, as it is better for talking over changes.
it results in a blank view with only a close button at the bottom
