I'm tired of reading horribly formatted plain text licenses.

So here's a repository of markdown-formatted licenses that are readable both in their plain text and rendered form.

Don't forget to replace any placeholder copyright lines! Look for <tokens>.

aGPL license?

Was just wondering if you planned to add one. I think that's the license I'm going to go for and I don't see it around atm, thanks!

GPL licences have misnumbered sections.

The first item/section in the GNU GPLv3 should be labeled 0, but it is instead labeled 1. This should definitely be fixed as this can change the meaning of the document, and may mess up some things. It also breaks the changing it is not allowed restriction placed on the license by the FSF.

This can be solved via inline HTML as this StackOverflow post describes, or section headers can be used instead.

I personally favor section headers because you have the potential to easily link to them.
