Usage

Installation

Step 1: Downloading ezMaterialBuilder

Download your desired release directly from the Releases page

Step 2: Configuring your Environment

Extract the downloaded file and place it in the specified directory

# Windows
../Documents/maya/<VERSION>/scripts/ezMaterialBuilder

# Linux
../<username>/maya/<VERSION>/scripts/ezMaterialBuilder

# Mac OS X
../<username>/Library/Preferences/Autodesk/maya/<VERSION>/scripts/ezMaterialBuilder

Step 3: Test ezMaterialBuilder

To verify that the installation was successful, restart Maya and run the following python command in the script editor

from ezMaterialBuilder import builder

builder.run()

If a window appears, the installation is complete.
