I don't see anything hanging, the "network listeners" rediscovery interval is 2 minutes, so it is expected to see those log messages every 2 minutes.

Could you please rephrase the "Expected behavior"? I don't understand.

If your problem is that jobs collecting data from windows.conf are not working, can you share the entire output of ./go.d.plugin -d -m windows rather than some part as you did?

@covxx you likely have a syntax error in vnodes.conf. I see an indentation issue here

Copy and paste your content to https://www.yamllint.com/ to check if it is correct (it is not).

The plugin's debug output should contain a log message about problems with vnodes, this should be somewhere at the beginning of the output when the plugin reads the configuration files.

In my experience, the Windows exporter can be slow to respond. I would suggest keeping update_every as default (5). If set to 2, there may be gaps due to failed data collection attempts.
