Endpoint paths not hard coded to "dev"
The initial commit hard codes the path in the endpoints with "dev", but it would be better to have that be programmatic so that non-dev endpoints could be tested.
Add CI/CD functionality using AWS CodePipeline
Error when trying to create TODO
Hello!
While running:
curl -vv -X POST https://xxxxxx.execute-api.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/dev/todos --data '{ "text": "Learn Serverless" }'
I got internal server error. Debugged to this error:
Endpoint response body before transformations: {"errorMessage":"Cannot find module 'uuid'","errorType":"Error","stackTrace":["Module.require (module.js:353:17)","require (internal/module.js:12:17)","Object.<anonymous> (/var/task/src/todos/create.js:3:14)","Module._compile (module.js:409:26)","Object.Module._extensions..js (module.js:416:10)","Module.load (module.js:343:32)","Function.Module._load (module.js:300:12)","Module.require (module.js:353:17)"]}
Cheers!
Fix global vs local NPM config/docs
This is me being a Node noob, but I confused global vs local NPM scope and need to fix the readme.md and the package.json accordingly.
test issue
Here's an issue to test Scope
Add More Tests
Current commit only has one test, which creates one todo, reads it to confirm the creation, and then deletes it. More tests needed for more combinations that includes multiple adds, lists, and deletes as well as an update.
Script the CodePipeline setup
This includes CodeBuild and IAM setup
local testing
I tried running the local test example and for the following errors when I ran my tests: https://gist.github.com/worldsoup/247a2507f20572242b5a7b2a6b6fe106
I'm not quite sure why I'm getting the 403 error (I followed your instructions) but at the very least it looks like the '+ expected' and '- actual' key is reversed. Any ideas on why the endpoint wouldn't be publicly available?
Automate endpoint fetch
The initial commit reads the endpoint domain from an environment variable, but there is likely a better solution to finding that automatically by looking into one of the CloudFormation files in the .serverless folder resulting from the deploy.
