It seems that IE8 cannot modify DOM while loading. A exception is thrown while calling init_jQueryTagit.

I came up a simple solution: wrap the body of init_jQueryTagit into $(function(){...}). It works on IE8 and may be probably better in general cases: execute code after page is ready.

I can not make django-tagging-autocomplete-tag-it work within admin inlines. I get error ---> Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method 'tagit' ------
