Previously, there was a Debian-based virtual machine image distributed (using VirtualBox) that contained a pre-installed version of PGDB for people to play around with. This needs to be updated, and made available in a reasonable manner.

The installation documentation is currently out of date in light of updates to PGDB's configuration files, and new releases of LaunchMON and MRNet. We should be able to simplify it greatly, especially since LaunchMON seems to build without much trouble as of its new release.

• Update LaunchMON instructions
• Mention applying patches to LaunchMON for MPICH/MVAPICH/mpirun_rsh support
• Correspondingly, update notes on needed tool versions, since LaunchMON drove most of those
• Update MRNet instructions
• Update LaunchMON and MRNet binding install instructions
• Add a line for installing posix_ipc, since the SBD requires this
• Update PGDB install and config instructions (they have been simplified)
• Remove build errors section, as it is out-of-date now
• More specific section on gdb versions/requirements

The manual has gotten out of date because I dislike writing documentation, but it seems to be helpful for a lot of people. Update it. Or move it to the wiki or something. Still not sure about that. LaTeX is pretty, but the wiki may be a better platform.
