Nice idea. All formats are fine.

If you go with one of the ones that has

The tutorial gallery is hosted at as part of the documentation, here

I think the grammar needs fixing where there is the "...at as...". Perhaps drop the "at"

Good pick up. I have looked at the README so many times, and I never noticed that "at as". Yes, if that formatting is retained, I will take the opportunity to fix it.

An alternative version to consider is

Documentation
Source code
Tutorial gallery
Journal article

Or
Documentation - Source code - Tutorial gallery - Journal article

Or if you wanted to get fancy, you could add a clickable image for each one to add a bit of colour to the ReadMe.

Thanks to everyone for their feedback on their preferred option.

In line with feedback, I put up a PR (which Tennessee has since merged into develop) for the following option:

Documentation: scores.readthedocs.io
Source code: github.com/nci/scores
Tutorial gallery: available here
Journal article: scores: A Python package for verifying and evaluating models and predictions with xarray

My only remaining concern is the two colons in the line for the journal article:

Journal article: scores: A Python package for verifying and evaluating models and predictions with xarray

Should the colon after "article" be a hyphen instead? If so, should the colons after "Documentation", "Source Code" and "Tutorial Gallery" also be hyphens?
