Currently the resulting markup wouldn't be easily resizeable, since we're using pixels. Using percentages would make resizing super-easy.

Enter a 'resize mode' with a keystroke. Controls similar to GIMP's widget for resizing a selection.

Show the current color in a widget similar to Photoshop or GIMP:

Pressing a key (or double-clicking on the swatch) should bring up a color picker (probably should just use a good existing jQuery plugin.

Obviously a color picker is a very widely applicable widget. Some of the first uses needed:

• elements will be drawn in the active color
• element last made active will cause the picker to be set to the color of that element
• changing the color while any elements are active will cause them to be reset to that color

Press a key to enter a 'move mode' where you can move the element around. Constrain move axis by holding down a modifier key.
