Old school, cross-platform action game

Cross platform, retro shoot-em-up inspired by games like Thexder, Metroid and Cave Story. It's written in GameMaker Studio 1.4.
Howard runs natively on Windows and Mac OS X, and in most browsers. Works on mobile devices as well, with in-progress touch screen support. There is a also a PlayStation Vita port.
The game is still in development, with only one level and many bugs. There's no sound or music yet.
