google-news-scrapper's Introduction

Initial Setup:

Install latest version of python on your system

Things to do before running code: open scraper.py

Install dependencies (it is a one time setup): open terminal and run this command: pip install -r requirements.txt

  1. Search on google, what is my user agent, and copy paste it in the scraper.py to the user_agent variable
  2. Specify the date in scraper.py, it should be a two digit date
  3. Open terminal and run this command, 'python scraper.py' and see the logs for details
