I began my career change by earning a certification in IT Support, which gave me solid exposure to tech fundamentals and really opened my eyes to the various subfields that I could pursue in this industry. I decided that I wanted to further my education and specialize in software development, so I enrolled in the Backend Software Engineering program at Turing School of Software & Design - the first of only two accredited programming tech-schools in the nation recognized by the US Department of Education - where I graduated in 2023. I then wanted to solidify my tech foundations, so I enrolled at Pierpont Community & Technical College as a transfer student where I earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Information Systems. Not one to settle, I am now pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science at Western Governors University, where I expect to graduate in 2025.
