GM Code Error

Got a code error in the middle of playing unmodified version

Not sure how much of this is useful to you (usually my errors are different kinds when I make games), so I thought I'd just paste the whole thing.
I forget when I got the error, I think I threw a bomb at the wall, but I'm not sure

Project not opening on Mac

I believe that's because of compatibility. Is there any guide to open it maybe using some third party tools?

LICENSE.txt

The README.md states: "Please read the attached LICENSE.txt". However, LICENSE.txt can't be found anywhere in the immediate repository AFAICT.

I would recommend that LICENSE.txt be added to the repository base and ideally, that the README.md be modified as so that the above-stated mention of LICENSE.txt be a link to that file, so that anyone viewing the repository that click that link to immediately see the relevant license information.

Remove Xin in favor of native support

The title really says it all. Xin has been depreciated in favor of native controller support. There would probably be better performance if we managed to use the native controls.

Add more prominent links to GitHub

Hello! It's cool seeing something on steam that's open source, I was trying to find the repo and it was surprisingly difficult. On Google GitHub doesn't show up (I'm in Singapore):

It's not linked to from the homepage (as far as I can see): http://www.relichunters.com.br/. It was difficult noticing the small bottom right link on: http://www.roguesnail.com/relic-hunters-zero/ It's also not linked to from the main steam page. I'd like to suggest adding some more prominent links to help discoverability.

Game crashes at launch on MacOS

Here's a clip of the debug info the OS spits out at application crash. It looks like some manner of code signing issue. I've not kept current on how Apple is doing this stuff these days? Did the certificate this game was compiled with possibly expire? (this is from the steam version of the game)

[Linux] .desktop file not created/created incorrectly

I'm more or less opening this issue for myself and anyone who wants to help me on the Linux port. I've managed to get it working relatively well, but there are a few problems.

When first building the project in GM:S Pro with a Linux(YYC) target , a .desktop file is created, but it doesn't point to the game properly. When using the .deb to install it, no .desktop file is created at all.

It installs into /opt (correctly) and runs directly from there. I have the necessary extracted files and a prebuilt .deb (using GM:S Pro/YYC) available.

I'm hoping to solve this issue sometime this week. If I can, we have a functional linux stand-alone client. I've never worked directly with Steamworks, so I don't know how the Steam Installation Directory element works.

Latin characters missing

Please list the fonts used in the project with links to download them.
Ballon text, pickup Info and some menus are not displaying Latin characters and need to be replaced or maybe just have the font range reconfigured in GameMaker.

Gamepad Support for Mac

Relic Hunters doesn't support gamepad on the mac.
According to one of the developers, it's some issue with Game Maker. They used a custom xinput dll for windows and when on a Mac it changes to a default Game Maker library which is not guaranteed to work and since they don't have a mac to test it, they couldn't add full support to it.

https://github.com/d235j/360Controller - This is the driver I'm (and a fair amount of other players are) using to play games with both xbox 360's and xbox one's controllers on Mac.

And I have a mouse. But I'll deeply appreciate the kindness of anyone who solve this, since I don't have the coding skills to do it myself.
