multimediaeval.github.io's Issues

setup backup

@maranlar can we take a look at this?
Do we have a GDrive account to backup the website there?

MediaEval 2021 begins!

from @maranlar :)

Hi. That would be great if you could move the current MediaEval 2020 page so it occurs at the top of the "MediaEval History" list (above pre-2020) and then add a new MediaEval 2021 page (You can just put "Coming Soon" and a link to the homepage.)

Dependabot vulnerability scan

Dependabot revealed two security alerts [1, 2] due to outdated dependencies in the assets/package-lock.json. Given that there is not a corresponding package.json file, I wonder whether this file got accidentally pushed to the repo.

To resolve this issue, please verify if the assets/package-lock.json is necessary.

  • If it is not, please delete it. Consider adding the file to .gitignore to prevent it from being added in the future.
  • If it is needed, then figure out why the associated package.json is not included in the repo. For example, running npm audit fix can help find compatible dependency upgrades, but because the package.json is missing it cannot do so.

Url images on twitter

Here is a puzzle with the website. Not urgent, but quite interesting. Most pages are interpreted by Twitter as somehow having a missing image:

This one appears in a tweet as if it were missing an image.

In contrast to this one:
The link to this page, I could include in a tweet and it doesn't look like it's missing an image.
