I think you did not mount the folders correctly
from docker-minecraft-papermc-server.

Is there a special way to mount the folders? I followed the same steps as I do with several other images. The container is brilliant and performs much better than the other ones that I have tried. The only issue I have seen is the status check.
Any chance you can suggest a different method of mounting the folders? I tried to just use the image and not manually mount any folders and got the same issue.

To be honest, I don't know the answer to that. Maybe you have to configure the liveness probe somehow https://kubernetes.io/docs/tasks/configure-pod-container/configure-liveness-readiness-startup-probes/ or the image needs to be extended to support that. Either way, I have no idea how to do that. Perhaps someone else?
