A file tagger and organizer

About

Tagz allows you to tag any and all files on your computer to be able to find them easier later on when you need them.

Installation

There are currently no instructions or files available for you to install tagz. At the moment you need to build from source.

Packaging application

Pyinstaller pyinstaller gui_client.spec

• Python 3 (tested with 3.9.4)

Deploying documentation

• Run mkdocs gh-deploy

Running documentation server locally

• Run mkdocs serve from same directory as mkdocs.yml

tagz's Issues

Add folder option

You should be able to select a folder and have all files saved to the database

Add file with no tags

If you add a file with no tags, the file does get saved to the database but will not be accessable as "no tags" does not show in the tags list.
A default [Untagged] tag should show up in the list and you should be able to retrieve all untagged files as well.
